The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals handed down a landmark ruling yesterday that could fundamentally reshape how cryptocurrency protocols are regulated. In Van Loon v. Department of Treasury, the court found that the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) exceeded
